A bit about me
Greetings, hello, and welcome!
This is where I get to be a nerd and write about everything cars.
On the clock, I’m an analyst at AutoPacific, a market research and consulting firm helping automakers and suppliers figure out what to do next. Ever since college, writing is something I've long had a passion for, and I'm grateful to have worked both on the editorial and behind-the-scenes product side of our wild, fast-paced auto industry. It truly never sleeps.
Away from my desk, I’m a lifelong enthusiast and gearhead. I grew up playing with Hot Wheels and Matchbox, and remember feverishly flipping through the pages of various magazines during my early teenage years, scattered amongst the basements or bedrooms of my friends' houses, obsessing and arguing exclusively over 0-to-60 mph times. I still own my first car, a red 2001 Chevrolet Camaro, T-Tops and all, and attempt to wrench on nearly anything with an engine. I love the stories cars can tell, and try to capture them behind the lens and in fascinating dialogue with their owners. My summers are filled with weekly cruise nights, happily rowing through gears in a 2004 Mazda RX-8 that's been kept in our family since new, and making the short commute north to the national park of speed, Road America, whenever the green flag drops.
I hope you enjoy reading my thoughts, takes, insights, and tales, many of which are likely fueled by heavy coffee consumption. Thanks for being here.
